Obituary for Carol M. Baker
Carol M. Baker, Née Carol M. McBride of Boerne, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2021 in her home surrounded by family at the age of 93.

Born March 30, 1928 to Otis and Lilli McBride the fifth of seven children in Polk County, Arkansas.

She married the love of her life, David M. Baker on November 17, 1951. Together they raised five children while living in San Antonio, Texas. All while operating a successful business as a beautician for over 50 years before retiring to Boerne, Texas in the 1970s, where she spent the remainder of her years, gardening, chasing grandchildren, and attending Polka concerts in the park.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Otis and Lillie McBride, husband David M. Baker, daughter Neva Jean Baker, siblings Cedric McBride, Otis Leon McBride, BH Mc Bride, Juanita Weir, Eunice Potter and a grandson-in-law Micah McCosh.

She is survived by her four children and their families, Phillip D. Baker and his wife Shelly of Mt. Vernon, Arkansas, Laura M. Baker of Boerne, Texas, Douglas R. Baker of Sunrise Beach, Texas and William Scott Baker and his wife Charlotte of Converse, Texas.

Nine Grandchildren Dorrie McCosh (Mike Smile), Joseph Quintana, Cole Baker (wife Tashia), Amanda M. Baker (Mike Wallis), Callie M. Merritt (Trevor Lindner), Jennifer A. Baker (Chris Maraschino), Ashley Renee Baker, Kevin S. Baker (Wife Esmeralda), and Steven E. Baker (wife Clarissa)

Seven surviving Great Grandchildren Declan O Baker, Elliott B. Baker, Payton J. Ivey, Layla Ann Ivey, Cora Baker, Theadosia Baker and Adeline Baker and one on the way.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

SERVICES
Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. followed by the Service at 12:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. Interment will follow at Coker Cemetery.
