Mrs. Henry, 71, of Oakdale, passed away on July 30, 2021 at 6:35 a.m. in her home surrounded by her family.

Billie was born in Conroe, Texas to Chester and Willie Lavelle Patterson on March 11, 1950. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her family and friends at the camp and she enjoyed dancing. Her favorite pass time was watching westerns on tv while resting at home. Billie was always proud to tell people that she helped build The Word Church from start to finish. She was a member of The Word Church for 28+ years. Billie was full of life and ready to do anything until her health no longer allowed her to enjoy the things she loved. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Willie Patterson, late-husband, Kenneth Perkins, Sr.; granddaughter Annalise Perkins and brother, Jamie Patterson.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her husband, Gene Henry of Oakdale; four children, Ken Perkins (Cherry) of Saline, Ann'a Foret (Matt) of Ville Platte, Delbert Perkins (Sara) of Oakdale and Digger Perkins (Brittni) of Elizabeth; three stepchildren, Trisha, Mikey and Tiffany; one sister, Jodie Williams (Terry) of Vidor, TX; one brother, Jerry Patterson of Vidor, TX; thirteen grandchildren, Kelsey, Karleigh, Madison, Braden, Jonathan, Tanner, Hunter, Taylor, Kolby, Jessie, Emma, Paislee and Josie; eight great grandchildren, twelve step grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Honored to serve as pallbearer are Earl Holmes, Cody Willette, David "Gator" Johnston, Brian Lovejoy, Michael "Freck" Slaney and Webster "Lil Web" McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob "Pound Puppy" Parker, Jeff Jordan, Jack Graham and Scott Stanton.
