Angela Kay Barnett was born on September 7, 1970 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. and left her earthly body on July 28, 2021 for her heavenly journey. She had attained the age of fifty years, ten months and twenty-one days.
Angela was the daughter of Sue (Koerner) Leach and the late Gary Leach. She was a 1988 graduate of Ellsinore High School. She met the love of her life, Scotty Barnett of 32 years at a donkey basketball game as teenagers. They married on March 25, 1989. Nine years they were married before having their miracle baby, Savannah Sue-Ann.
She lived to spend time with her family and being a Nana to her grandson, Zaidyn, who was her pride and joy. Angie enjoyed making quilts, collecting Wizard of Oz items, reading the newspaper, being a shopping queen, couponing, attending craft fairs and yard sales.
She is survived by her husband Scotty Barnett, daughter Savannah Barnett, grandson Zaidyn Barnett, mother Sue Leach, sister Kim (Ivan) Epperson, mother-in-law Bonnie Barnett, two special uncles Kennith Ray (Janet) Leach and Ted Koerner, two special aunts Barb Michels and Edith Wright, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Angela was preceded in death by her father Gary Leach and her father-in-law Orbin Barnett, her grandparents Albert Leach, Gladys Leach and Helen Koerner.
Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery in Ellsinore, MO.
