Survivors include her five children, Tammy King (Wayne) of Georgia, Scott Byars (Denise) of Georgia, Paula Paisley of Florida, Brenda Byars of Piedmont, and Gene Byars (Melissa) of Georgia; 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Waters and Sandy Landmon both of Douglasville, Georgia; one brother, Wayne Kelley of Douglasville, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be James Blanchard, Bradley King, Darreyl McKenzie, Josh Roberts, Justin King, Danny Foster, and John Iacono.
Mrs. Byars was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a strong woman with a genuinely kind and loving personality. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was loved by everyone. Mrs. Byars was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Junior Eugene Byars.
