Gloria is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Armstrong of Strong and Hattie Bishop of Kansas and brothers, William (Shuggie) Shirey of Marion, Louisiana and Johnny Shirey of El Dorado.
She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all. Gloria enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived in death by sisters, Dorothy Ables (Mac) of Strong and Frances Burnside (Terry) of Camden; brothers, Earl Shirey (Kay) of Farmerville and James Loftin of Huttig; children, Jonathan Chadwick (Kristy), Jennifer Chadwick and Jeffery Chadwick (Angie) all of Strong; grandchildren, Chase Woodle (Bo) of El Dorado, Mason McMahan of Strong, Dylan Chadwick, Levi Chadwick, Cameron Crites, Aliyah Chadwick and Riley Chadwick, all of Wisconsin; fiancé, David Hixon of Strong; good friend, Jo Ann Dollar and Family; several nieces and nephews along with several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, July 30, 2021 at New London Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at New London Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Terry Smith followed by Interment at New London Cemetery under the direction of Perry's Funeral Chapels.
