Minister Richard Ransom was born October 24, 1962 in Dallas, Texas to Bobby Lee and Marcie Ransom. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Lee Ransom; grandparents, Smith and Everleana Ransom, Zetha Lee Hallman, and Garthon Hallmon.

Richard was a graduate of Kimble High School in the Class of 1981.

He was a hard worker, and employed at Mario Sinacola & Sons until present. He worked as a truck driver, and office manager for 7 years.

Richard loved the Lord! He was a member of Cornerstone Full Gospel Church of Fairfield Inc. until his death. He served, and was dedicated to preaching the word of God.

Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and son. He married the love of his life Oretha Ransom on August 3, 2000.

Richard loved to cook (Little man BBQ)!! He also had many other hobbies, and likes such as old school cars, singing & directing the choir, shopping, and ABSOLUTELY loved being with family!

He leaves to cherish many precious memories his loving, devoted wife of 20 years, Oretha Ransom; mother, Mother Marcie Ransom; mother in love, Mother Alice Hall; daughters, Jennifer Ransom of Kerryville, Texas, Lucretia Hallman of Dallas, Texas; sons, Richard Ransom IIII (Shavon) of Dallas, Texas, Justin Davis (Cassandra) of Teague, Texas; Daniel Ransom of Kerryville, Texas, Earsell Hallman of Dallas, Texas, and Axavien Richardson of Dallas, Texas; God-Children, Waverly Ross of Fairfield, Texas and Travious Thornton of Dallas, Texas; 9 grandchildren; siblings, Margie Nell (Alvin), Mary Whitehead (William), Michael Ware, Robert Ransom, Rochelle Burks (Johnny), Marcus Ransom (Christie), Donald Ransom (Tiffany), David Ransom Sr. (Sha-wanda), Daniel Ransom; and host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.Obituary
