She was baptized and became a member of Lanesport Baptist Church.
Peggy worked 19 years at Wadley Regional Medical Center. After 12 years of working for Tyson Foods, she retired and helped rear her two grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Mary Hughes, sisters, Elizabeth Banks, and Ruby Cullins.
Leaves to cherish her memories Son, Martez Hughes; Daughters, Twilette Hardiman, and Shecekia Hughes; Grandchildren, Chiniya Hardiman, and Cedarius Miller all of Garland City, AR; Sister, Arcie Howard of Lewisville, AR; Lifetime Friend, Bernard Arnold Jr. of Garland City, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, July 31st, 2021, at Lanesport Baptist Church in Garland, AR, at 3:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Lewisville, AR, under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC.
