Graves Eves IV -- Graves died in 1836, before October, without a will and his estate records are in the Perry County Probate and Orphans Court Records. See the Minutes of the Orphans Court, Book 'B', 1832-1838, page 275, October Term 1836. Jesse B. Eaves and Issac S. Eaves, sons of Graves were appointed Administrators of the estate of the late Graves Eaves. Action; Approved, Filed and Recorded. He lived in Perry County,AL, about 6 miles south of Uniontown,AL, in 1836 and is probably buried nearby. He owned at least 280 acres of land consisting of the NE/4 of the SW/4 of Section 8, the NE/4 of the SW/4 of Section 8 and the SE/4 of Section 8, all in Township 16N, Range 6E in the county of Perry.AL.(See Perry County Deed Record Book F Page 506, Dec 13, 1841) At the time Graves died two children, Harman S. Eaves and Edithry A. Eaves were minors. Isaac S. Eaves was appointed guardian of Harman S. Eaves and Jesse B. Eaves was appointed guardian of Edithry A. Eaves. The estate was not settled until 1841 and in the meantime Jesse B. Eaves married Matha Bailiff. Elizabeth Eaves married Jabez J. Osbourn and Margaret Suttle Eaves, widow of Graves, married Robert Bailiff. The final distribution of the land of Graves Eaves took place in December 1841 (See Deed Record Book 'F', P-506, 13 Dec 1841) and the parties signing the indenture were, Jesse B. Eaves, Isaac S.
