George Richard "Dick" Williamson, 84, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at his home in Nixa.

Dick was born on September 15, 1936 in St. Joseph; the son of Francis and Mildred (Brown) Williamson. On December 4, 1971, he married Linda in St. Joseph.

Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Linda; four children, Karen of Kansas City, Linda and husband, Tim, of Lee's Summit, Sean and wife, Heide, of Indian Point, and John and wife, Cathy, of Humble, TX; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Zachary Bronars; and his beloved dog, Buster.

Dick was a cattle buyer for many years. He was also a member for over 50 years of the King Hill Lodge No. 376 AF & AM, the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite in St. Joseph, and Moila Shrine Temple in St. Joseph. He was also a dedicated youth sports coach from 1980 onward. Dick coached football, basketball, and baseball over the decades where he impacted the lives of many young men.

A Funeral will be held for Dick at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa. Friends & relatives are invited to a Visitation with the family one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home, from 1:00-2:00 P.M.
Burial will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph.
