Steve P. Gonzales was born September 2, 1939 in Marble Falls, Texas, the son of Victor and Eluteria Placios Gonzales.
Steve was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of the St. Helen's Catholic Church of Georgetown.
He sheared sheep, often for FHA. He was a trade carpenter and helped build many of the homes in Georgetown.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Estella; grandson, Isaac and brother, Ben Gonzales.
He is survived by his daughter, Norma Gonzales; step-daughters, Lori Montoya and Priscilla Hernandez; grandchildren, Corinna Montoya, Anthony Montoya, Aric Valdez, Krystal Aguirre, Jessica Gonzales and Melissa Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Jessie Aguirre, Julius Aguirre, Krislynn Aguirre, Kami Ortegon, Natalie Gonzales, Jayceon Gonzales, Diamond Garza, Ava Ortiz and Bobby Dove; brothers, Victor Gonzales and Lupe Gonzales.
