William (Bill) V. Hogg moved from this life to his forever home on July 25, 2021.
Bill was born on December 11, 1931 in Granite, Oklahoma, to Virgil and Vena Hogg.
After graduating from high school, he served two years in the United States Army. He then moved to Wichita Falls to attend college while working full time and raising his family. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He served as a General Agent for Universal Fidelity Insurance Company out of Duncan, Oklahoma. He was highly regarded by the agents working under him, in addition to his many clients.
Bill married Kelli Bownds McClendon in 1983.
After retirement from his successful insurance business, Bill was heavily involved in construction projects and was the backbone and support of his wife Kelli's business, Lookin Good Spa.
Bill was a simple man who loved his large family and many friends. He took great pride in building a beautiful lake home, which was fondly named "Hogg Heaven" where he and Kelli hosted many social activities and family gatherings.
Anyone who knew Bill would say he was "one of a kind" or "a legend." Most of them had a "special" Bill Hogg story.
Bill and Kelli had a unique love story; anyone who had the pleasure of witnessing them together instantly got it. Their unwavering love and devotion to each other was truly inspiring.
Bill was preceded in death by his son, Rocky Hogg. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kelli Hogg; son, Ricky Hogg of Wichita Falls; daughter Shawn and her husband, Ronnie Sawyer of Wichita Falls; daughter Kati and her husband, Doug of Shallowater, TX; eight grandchildren, Calvin Hogg, Chase and his wife Brandice Sawyer; Shelby and her husband Jordan Susac; Erica Sawyer, Hudson, Jackson, Cannon and Klara Jane Onstead, and two great-grandchildren, Atticus and Stella Bea Sawyer.
Services for Bill will consist of a visitation at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, TX on Sunday, August 1st from 4-6 pm and a private grave side memorial on Monday, August 2nd at the cemetery in Vera, Texas.
