York - Loretta J. Murray, age 88, of York Township, York, was called home by her Lord and reunited with her late husband of 68 years, Kenneth W. Murray, Jr.

Born November 17, 1932 in Monmouth, Illinois, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Rick Street and daughter, Debbie Cochran. Additionally, she was lovingly known as Mormor by her six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter.

She completed extensive family research and especially enjoyed her Swedish heritage. She traveled cross country with her husband in their RV and, in recent years, enjoyed gardening, watching birds at her many birdfeeders, and the companionship of her little dog. She was a member of First Baptist Church of York, and was a founding member of Yorkarvers.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with a close family friend, The Rev. Keith Schmuck, officiating. Visitation will be 9:30-10:00 AM. Private burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Community Care, 235 Saint Charles Way, Suite 250, York PA 17402; or to a favorite charity.
