CSM (Ret.) Thomas Elsworth Gordon, Sr., 89 of Radcliff, KY died on July 25, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. Thomas was born on November 14, 1931 in Carthage, NC and the son of the late John and Ann Gordon. He served his country in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Sergeant Major Club, DAV and a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Thomas E. Gordon; brothers James and William Gordon; sisters Catherine Patterson and Mary Arnold.
Survivors include his wife, Arveeda Gordon of Radcliff, KY; one son, James A. Gordon of Frederick, MD; one sister-in-law, A. Darleen Moss (Pastor Walter Moss) of Canton, OH and special friends, Clifton and Fannye Edwards of Radcliff, KY.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Chaplain Mike Lewis officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday at Percell & Sons Funeral Home.
