Randy Helderbrand, 64, of Spiceland, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1957 in New Castle, a son of Clesta and Betty (Stamper) Helderbrand.

Randy was employed at Draper Shade in Spiceland for the past 15 years. He was previously employed at Smurfitt Stone Paper Mill in Carthage for 10 years and Detroit Steel for 25 years. Randy enjoyed gardening, bird watching, fishing and hunting. He especially loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren and visiting the family home in Kentucky. He liked gospel and bluegrass music and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Knightstown.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 45 years of the home; three daughters and their husbands of Greenfield; five grandchildren; 3 siblings and their spouses all of Knightstown; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many close friends and co-workers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Kay Elam; and brother, Gary Helderbrand.

Services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Randy Gross officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
