Laetitia Agnes Barbour Frye, 97, of Roanoke, died Monday, February 7, 1994. Born May 12, 1896, she was the daughter of the late John Fletcher and Laetitia Agnes Barbour.

She was predeceased by her son, John Barbour Frye.

She is survived by her son, Edward Graham Frye III, Virginia Beach; her seven grandchildren, John S. Frye, Isle of Palms, S.C., Fletcher B. Frye, Williamsburg, Patricia R. Frye, White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., Carol (Mrs. Carter) Schelenke, Atlanta, Ga., Laetitia Frye (Mrs. Israel) Rosales, San Francisco, Calif., John B. Frye Jr., Minter City, Miss., Mary H. Frye, Roanoke, and her five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 10, 10 a.m. at Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made for her great love of art, to the Art Museum of Western Virginia, 1 Market Square, Center in the Square, Roanoke, VA or, for their kindness, to Presbyterian Women, Second Presbyterian Church, 214 Mountain Avenue, S.W., Roanoke, VA Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, where the family will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
