Connie Sue Jones-Hunt, 59, of Lumberton, North Carolina, passed away on November 1, 2020 in the comforts of her home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on March 6, 1961 in Robeson County.
Her driving force was her family, from rummaging at the Church and Community Center to traveling near and far to Antique Shops she was dedicated to making everyone happy with her unique finds. She was passionate about caring for children and spent a great deal of time working in daycares and ultimately opening her own. She gave selflessly every-day and it showed in how she took care of her family. She had the heart of lion and the strength of a warrior. Her memories will live on, now it's time for her to rest.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Jones; and her brothers, Danny Jones and Eddie "Boss" Jones, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Leon Hunt, of the home; six daughters; Shanna Jones, Kristi Jones, Leann Hunt, Leandra Hunt, Ashley Lowery, and Tiffany Hunt; two sons, Leon Hunt, Jr and Elliot Hunt; twenty-two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother, Pauline Jones; two brothers, one sister; and a host of family and friends.
The funeral services will be held at Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton. The burial services will be held at Stewartsville Cemetery in Laurinburg, 10322 Stewartsville Cemetery Rd, Laurinburg, NC 28352, N.C. with Revs. Jeremy Brewington and Willie Scott officiating.
