FLORENCE'S OBITUARY
Florence (Winkie) Ann Kupka - Young received her angel wings on July 26, 2021 at the age of 78.
Ann, as she was known to many, was born to Charlie Floyd and Florene Gaither on July 23, 1943.
Ann had a very interesting and eventful childhood, which made her the amazing person she was. The stories she told about growing up had your full attention and wanting to hear more. Ann was a loving and compassionate person. She treated everyone like they were family. Everyone got an "I love you" even if she had just met you.
Ann had a love for all animals, especially cats. She had her tribe of kitties who adored her and followed her everywhere. She had that magical touch whether it be an animal or a person.
Ann is survived by her husband Ronald (Ronnie) Young; her three children she loved dearly: Carlton Kupka and wife Frances (Cotton Ginnee), Teresa Elledge and husband Keith, and Joseph Kupka and wife Shannon, and her beloved grandchildren, who referred to her as Batma: Garrett and Amy Dodson, Tori Dodson and Caleb Case, and Daniel Kupka. She is also survived by her two twin sisters, Donna Phan and Linda Burden. Other important family members include the father of her children, Joseph H. Kupka and his wife Gail, and her dearest friend who she loved so much, Jennie Stalder.
She is preceded in death by her father Charlie Floyd Gaither; mother Florene (Flo) Mills Gaither Poeteete; brothers, Floyd Lee Gaither and Don Gaither and her sister Dorothy (Dot) Tucker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK, with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
