Paul V. Smith, 70, 816 E. Main, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon while at his summer home at RR 3, Warsaw.
His wife, Velma S. Smith, survives along with one son, Dale Smith, Indianapolis; three granddaughters, Dale, Tracey and Leslie Smith; four sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Ashabrenner, New Castle, Mrs. Lena Gentry, South Bend, Mrs. Elizabeth Burkett, Huntington, and Mrs. Minnie Yingling, Valparaiso; and two brothers, Ervin Smith, Burlington, and Earl Smith, St. James City, Fla.
Mr. Smith retired in 1962 from the General Electric Co. in Cincinnati.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Macer Funeral Home at New Castle with Rev. D.C. Stafford in charge. Burial will be in Southmound Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
