Robert A. Wolfe, 90, formerly of Arizona, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown, PA. Born Dec. 6, 1930, in Marietta, Ohio, he was a son of the late Orville E. and Helen L. (Archer) Wolfe.
He graduated from Parkersburg High School Class of 1948 and received a B.S. degree in accounting and finance from University of Notre Dame in 1952.
Bob was last employed by the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers. Previously, he worked for Bankers National Life Insurance and American Express.
He enjoyed raising his four children, swimming, walking, flying, and boating.
Surviving are two daughters, Dana Schaffer and her husband Barry, of Palmer Township, PA and Dawn Reed and her husband Eric, of Smithsburg, MD; a step-son, Ernest "Andy" Moore, of Parkersburg, WV, a sister, Janis Wallbrown, of Bonita Springs, FL; seven grandchildren, Casey Smith and her husband Ryan, Barry Schaffer, Jr., Courtney Hammerstone and her husband Mark, Alan Reed and his fiance Diana Dymond, Stephanie Reed, Suzanne Wilson and her husband Alex, and Michaela Wolfe Shaffer, and four great-grandchildren, Rhett and Ridge Smith, Lilah Reed and Julian Shaffer; nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sons, Michael A. and Robert C. Wolfe.
Private arrangements are under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton, PA.
