The story has been told that when George Yarbrough and his
son, George R. Yarbrough, died, they were buried in the family garden..
That is when Yarbrough Cemetery was started. Robert Louis Sims told, that his grandmother, Virginia Belinda Yarbrough, told him, that George and George R. Yarbrough both died of that "bad disease". We haven't
Figured out just what that disease was. There is some garlic that grows around the edges of Yarbrough Cemetery that is said to have started and spread from the garlic that Lucretia grew in her garden.
Thanks to Max Hill and The Adair Family

1.William James Yarbrough abt 1760 in North Carolina and married to Bathsheba..
n every room of our time together there is a box,
Of memories we shared,
Now is the time to pack away,
With sadness and with care.
The first is a simple smile,
Whenever I thought of you,
Neatly folded into four,
It's the best that I could do.
Next are all the memories,
Of the times when we were two,
Wrapped with love one by one,
Sealed with tears as glue.
And then there are the butterflies,
I had when you were near,
Now in a cage of sadness,
And locked up with a tear.
