It is with the greatest sadness that the family of Beth McGuire, born March 24, 1964 announce her sudden passing due to an automobile accident on March 13, 2010.
Beth graduated from St. Vincent's High School in 1982, UNBSJ in 1986, and obtained her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Maine Orono in 1989, Beth enjoyed working in her chosen profession throughout Canada and the U.S., her true calling was working with and helping autistic children. Beth is survived by her parents Arthur and Claire (Callaghan) McGuire, her beloved daughter Julianna Claire, her sister Karen Gallagher (Michael) of Georgetown, O.N., and special nieces Jane and Sarah. Also survived by aunts Ann Patriquin, Mary Lou Smith (Kevin), Kay Callaghan and great aunt sister Nora Kelly and many cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents Ronald and Agnes Callaghan and John and Hazel McGuire, uncles David Callaghan and Louis McGuire and former husband Stephen Albans.In Peace At Last

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Monday March 15, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Joachim's Catholic Church on Tuesday March 16, 2010 at 11 am, with a reception immediately following in the church hall. Private burial will take place at a later date. For those who wish remembrances may be made to the Autism Society, the Animal Rescue League, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
