Eva Mary Joseph Lambert, 97, passed away on July 23, 2021 in Holladay.

Mary was born October 31, 1923 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England to John Morgan Joseph and Eleanor May Lowe Joseph. She was the fourth child of the five Joseph children and the only girl. Mary enjoyed attending Rookery Road School. As a young woman, she worked in the jewelry trade in Birmingham and in an armored vehicle plant during WWII. After the War, she immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Salt Lake City.

She married Raymond S. Lambert on November 8, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mary was a lifelong member of the LDS Church. She worked for many years at ZCMI in the Cottonwood Mall. In her later years, she enjoyed travelling to visit family and friends in the U.S., Canada, and England.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Jack, Alvin, Ron, and Stan; and grandson, James. Survived by three sons, Scott (Susan), Meridian, Idaho; Wayne (Susan) Centennial, Colorado; and Todd (Lourdes) Sacramento, California; grandchildren, Adam, Lisa, Eric, Emily, Andrew, Denise, David, Jonathan, David, and Michael; great-grandchild, Kimberly; nieces, Patricia, Pauline, Carol, Judie, Valerie, Jill, Pamela, and Stacey; and nephews, Wayne, John, and David.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 9:30-10:45 a.m., with the funeral at 11:00 a.m., at Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive (1815 East), Millcreek.
Interment at Holladay Memorial Park Cemetery.
