A.J.'S OBITUARY
Private memorial service will be held for A. J. Stanfield who died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at age 77 at home.

A.J. was born January 1, 1944, at home near Atwood, OK to Lois Etheredge Stanfield and Claud Samuel Stanfield. He was named in memory of his grandfather Jacob Arthur Stanfield.

After working in the tree service in California, with his father, A. J. returned to Ada in 1966 and entered the carpentry profession retiring in 2016.

He served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard from 1964 to 1971. A. J. was a tribal member of the Choctaw Nation.

On November 3, 1972 A. J. and Sharon Brouchoud Craddock were married in Ada.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Janice Faye Stanfield.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Stanfield, of the home; daughter, Kelly Curtsinger and husband Chad, Stonewall; sister, Wanda Christensen and husband Dick, Anaheim, CA; brothers, Roger Stanfield and wife Jan, and Alan Stanfield, all of Ada; and grandchildren, Olivia Curtsinger and Jaxon Curtsinger, Stonewall.
