PFC , United States Army , World War II A funeral for George Hiram Scott, 58, of the Mimosa community in Tennessee, who died Monday in the Lincoln County Hospital of an apparent heart attack, was Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Wallace Skipper officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Scott was a native of Moore County, Tenn., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Scott. He was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ. He was a veteran of World War II and retired civil service employee at Redstone Arsenal. He was a member of the American Legion and the Angus Association. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jewel Sullivan Scott of Mimosa, Ten.; two daughters, Mrs. M. W. Skeen of Kingsport, Tenn., and Mrs. D. P. Detiveaux of Ft. Wainwright, Alaska; a son, Ronald G. Scott of Fayetteville; five sisters, Mrs. Ruth Peay of Fayetteville, Mrs. Adele Leschuck of Cranford, New Jersey, Mrs. Maggie McLean and Mrs. Brownie Richey, both of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Grace Crowley of Lakeland, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
