Lexie Letitia Ford, 75, of Amarillo died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Marvin James officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Ms. Ford was born Dec. 9, 1929, in Portales, N.M. She graduated from Hereford High School. She retired from Southwestern Bell, where she was active in Telephone Pioneers and Communication Workers of America. She was a member of First Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Opal Robertson and Aleene Jones, and a brother, Henry C. Ford.
Survivors include a sister, Evelyn Bookout of Bradenton, Fla.; a brother, Calvin C. Ford of Amarillo; eight nieces; and six nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church, 3001 Wolflin Ave., Amarillo, TX 79109.
