Paul Randolph Henderson, 89, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021.  A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Liberty United Methodist Church.  Reverend Tony Crosby and Dr. Laudis "Rick" Lanford will officiate.  The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the Vinson Building at Liberty United Methodist Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Liberty United Methodist Church, 6511 Houston Road Macon, Georgia, 31216.  The family also would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Mr. Paul's devoted caregivers and Homestead Hospice for the love and devotion each have shown over the past several years.  

Mr. Henderson was born and raised in the Rutland Community of Macon, Georgia.  He is the son of the late Runa Long and Julian Randolph Henderson.  Mr. Henderson loved working every aspect of the family farm located on Allen Road.  He did this until the beloved farm was sold to Southern Railway.   

Mr. Henderson loved his years playing football for the Lanier Poets and supporting each of his sons in their athletic careers. It was with great pleasure that Mr. Henderson served in the Georgia National Guard as well as the boards of the Middle Georgia Boy Scout Council, the Georgia Industrial Children's Home and Stratford Academy. 

Mr. Henderson along with his wife, Eugenia, of 67 years spent their life as entrepreneurs.  Mr. Henderson's design and home construction can be seen today in the Rutland Community, Lake Tobesofkee and Bass at Rivoli Developments.  He and Eugenia also owned and operated 2 child care facilities in Stockbridge and McDonough, Georgia.  Mr. Henderson's love of the outdoors continued as he invested in real estate in Central and North Georgia.  

Mr. Henderson was asked many years ago, what his greatest accomplishment was to which he replied, "My 3 sons."  Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife Eugenia Rockett Henderson; sons, Brian Randolph Henderson (Teresa), Jeffrey Byrle Henderson (Tavia) and Clark Graham Henderson (Paulette); He was "Big Paul" to his grandchildren Blake Alexander Henderson (Laura Alice), William Chase Henderson, MD (Allyson), Jeffrey Gadsden Henderson, Parker Kirkland Henderson (Brianna), Lane Crawford Henderson, Paul Bryce Henderson.  Great grand- children; Beckham Morris Parker Henderson, Mary Carlysle Henderson and Collette Etta Henderson.  Big Paul also has 2 more great grandsons joining his family in July and September. He is also survived by his sisters, Ann Henderson Whitaker, Mary Henderson Park(George) and many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his devoted and loyal caregiver, Janice King.
