Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with Kevin Dotson, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Ms. Chapman was born Sept. 24, 1954, in Kennewick, Wash. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She owned and managed several fast food restaurants in Amarillo, and was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Carla was a very loving daughter and mother. She was very generous and loved helping others.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Lynn Chapman, in 1999.
Survivors include a daughter, Tonya Jennings of Amarillo; a son, Tony Chapman of Amarillo; her parents, Carl and Martha Ragan of Amarillo; four grandchildren, Jaylee, Taylor, Jayton and Tanner; and her companion and best friend, James "Jim" Hogan of Amarillo.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
