Leroy W. Morris, Sr., 59, Marion, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Aperion Care in Marion. He was born in Indianapolis on Tuesday, October 24, 1961, to Leon and Jeanette Morris. He was married to his loving bride, Bobbie Morris, and she preceded him in death.
Leroy graduated from Marion High School, where he played football. He continued his education at an auto diesel college in Lima, Ohio. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Leroy's favorite NFL teams were the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins. The most important thing in his life, though, was time spent with his children and grandchildren.
Leroy is survived by his sons, Leroy (Heather) Morris, Jr., of Marion and Randy White of Marion; daughter, Jeanette Morris of FL; sisters, Barbara Folden of Marion and Annie Jones of Marion; grandsons, Braylon Sherron, Randy White, Jr., Dominic Schoolcraft, and Abel Schoolcraft; and granddaughters, Rickie Schoolcraft, Ramaria Red, and Amaria Red.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service to celebrate Leroy's life was held on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN. Burial took place at Grant Memorial Park.
