John W. Brownlee, age 86, of Crafton Heights, blessed to have passed July 19, 2021, surrounded by the love of his family in the comfort of his own home, where he was born and raised and where he was overjoyed to raise his own family. Survived by his beloved wife, Suzie Lan; his loving children, Anthony (Joumana) and Barbara (Sean) Fashian, cherished grandchildren; brother, Robert (Jacqueline) Brownlee; sister-in-law, Jennifer Hue Nguyen, and many loved nieces, nephews and neighbors - like family. Preceded in death by his parents, James J. and Anna Maria Brownlee; brothers and sisters, Marion, James, Elizabeth, Marcella, Mercedes, Joseph, Mary Louise and Paul. A proud and respected veteran, who served and protected his family and country, well. A loving and ever present, husband, father, and grandfather. His great words of love and wisdom will live on forever, especially through his children and grandchildren. "A little kindness goes a long way," JB.
