Nashville, TN - 1926-2021

Stanley Ellsworth Bradley, 95, died on Tuesday, April 6, of a heart attack in Nashville, TN, where he and his late wife spent the last 10 years of their lives. He was born in Sempronious, New York, March 6, 1926, the only child to Lauren and Esther Moss Bradley. Stanley graduated from Cortland High School in 1944 and entered the United States Army that same year. He was honorably discharged in July of 1946. In June of 1955, he married Mary Lou Marcy of Boonville, New York and together they raised four children in Dryden, New York. Stanley and Mary Lou were active members of the Dryden Presbyterian Church. Stanley was a building contractor and developed most of the homes on Kimberly Drive in Dryden. He was proud of his Austin heritage, being descendants of Richard Austin who arrived in America from England in 1637. He was the family's genealogy specialist.

Stanley is predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Lou, who passed away on November 9, 2020. He is survived by his four children: Cynthia Bradley LaBuff (Lee LaBuff) (TN and NY), Alan Bradley and Jeffrey Bradley (TN), and Pamela Bradley Capps (FL). He is also survived by four grandsons: Kyle LaBuff and Patrick LaBuff (CT), Dylan Capps and Trevor Capps (FL).
