She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Brookhaven Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Randall Alan Gay. She is survived by her sister, Frances T Smith; niece Joyce S Sorrow (Dennis); nephews, Larry W Smith (Janice), James Dickerson, Ronald Dickerson (Robbie), and David Towns.
