A lover of art, music, family and friends, Gina Rae Price died at her home on Friday, October 26. Gina was born to JoAnn Price Musick and Rodney Price on April 22, 1958 in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School in 1977. Gina lived and worked in Abilene most of her life .

Gina was an active member of First Central Presbyterian Church since childhood and was a member of the Singles Ministry, helping organize the annual Trunk and Treat and "Coat Off Your Back Clothing Drive/Give-Away."

Gina had a heart for people in need and a passion for justice. She was one of the charter members of Advocates of Abilene that eventually merged with Mental Health Association and is now known as Mental Health America of Abilene (MHAA).

Gina is preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Price Musick and survived by her father, Rodney Price of Abilene, and two sisters, Teena McCrary of Hawley, and Melissa Gibbs and her husband, Glen, of Abilene, along with 2 nieces, 3 nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. Also considered as family for more than 40 years is Karla Burleson and her husband, Gerald Whittemore of Austin.

A memorial service for Gina will be held at First Central Presbyterian Church on Saturday, November 10 at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment in the First Central Presbyterian Church's columbarium will be at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Dr. Cliff Stewart and Dr. Janice Six. Memorial gifts may be made to First Central Presbyterian Church for the meditation garden, 400 Orange St., Abilene, TX 79601.
