Robert Claude Adair was born on May 16, 1948, in Stockton, California to Claude and Lauretta Adair and was born again on December 19, 1957, when he received the Holy Ghost at the age of nine. He grew up in Stockton and began his journey into ministry as the youth leader at Christian Life Center, under the leadership of Rev. Clyde Haney.
He attended Western Apostolic Bible College (now Christian Life College) in Stockton, where he met his wife. In his college days, he enjoyed singing and loved traveling the country as a bass singer in the quartet The BibleAires.
He began ministering at the age of 16 and continued until his retirement at the age of 69. A church planter, he had a genuine love for people and home missions. He was a lifelong student and teacher of the Word.
After many years of diminished health, he earned his heavenly reward on July 25, 2021.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty three years, his two sons, his three grandchildren, his brother, and numerous other beloved family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lauretta Adair.
His Homegoing Service will be held on July 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Rock Church in Elk Grove, California. A graveside service will be held immediately following at Hilltop Cemetery in Elk Grove, California.
