Sherry Hubbard

Notus - Sherry LaDonna Hubbard (Hart), 73, of Notus, ID, passed through the veil surrounded by her loved ones on July 26, 2021, after losing her fight with MS.

Sherry was born on August 16, 1947, to Howard and Verlie (Smith) Hart in Hastings, NE.

She met the love of her life while living in Grants Pass, OR, and was married in 1971 to Bob Hubbard. Bob brought two boys with him, and she loved being their stepmom. They later welcomed a little girl into their family, Cynthia, and then in 1976 welcomed another little boy, Vance, into their family.

Sherry and Bob moved around a lot, and during that time, she worked many jobs. She worked the fields, sheds, was a CNA, and also worked in retail in many positions. She loved working with people, and her smile was infectious wherever she went.

In 2017, the sister missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came knocking on Sherry's door. At the age of 70, Sherry decided to become a member of the church and a year later was so excited to go to the Meridian Temple to be sealed for all time and eternity to her family.

Sherry is preceded in death by her father Howard Hart, mother Verlie Flores, and her husband of 45 years, Bob Hubbard.

Sherry is survived by her stepson Dale (Stephanie) Hubbard of Ellensburg, WA, stepson Victor (Sylvia) Hubbard of Pasco, WA, daughter Cynthia (Kelvin) Hutchison of Notus, ID, and Vance (Kimberly) Hubbard of Middleton, ID, six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

A viewing will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Parma, ID, from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, August 5, 2021, followed by a graveside service on Friday, August 6, 10:30am, at Lower Boise Cemetery, Parma, ID.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff from Horizon Hospice of Caldwell and Home Helpers of Middleton.
