ACKER, Kenneth Stanley – Age 68, of New Germany, passed away suddenly on July 23, 2021, at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, with his loving wife and other family members by his side. Born March 26, 1953, the son of the late Obey Acker and Marian (Crouse). "Kenny", as he was known by many, is survived by his loving wife Carola (Lohnes) Acker; his sons, Darren (Valerie) and Darcy (Darlene); grandchildren, Priscilla (Darin), Vanessa (Matthew) and Matthew (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Broc, Maisie, Liam, Sophie, Olivia, and Greyson. He was predeceased by his sister, Faye, and brother, Donny.

Kenny worked in the forestry industry for most of his career. He retired from this line of work, but in no way stopped working. He worked around his own property, helping others with their odd jobs, taking people to appointments and shopping as he loved to be "on the go." He was also an active member of the New Germany congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even though Kenny has passed; he will always hold a special place in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, the Jehovah's Witnesses congregation, his friends and all who knew him.

Kenny's kindness and sense of humour will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him. He loved his family and his family loved him. Kenny formed friendships with all those he met as he was an extremely "likeable" person.

By the family's request, there will be no visitation and no interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, New Germany, or charity of choice.
