She was a member of Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Lanning and Mamie Morgan Lanning; husband, Norman Farmer II; sons, Charles Farmer, and Dave Farmer; brother, David Franklin Lanning; and sisters, Clara Mae Bennett and Margie Smith*. Surviving are her sons, Lewis Farmer, Millard Farmer (Brenda), Junior Farmer, Noah Farmer, and Larry Farmer (Susan); daughter, Mary Sanders (James); sisters, Mevelyn Durden, Irene Brookshire, Marie Hall, Brenda Lanning, Barbara Ann Brown, Sue Hess, and Margie Blackmon; daughter-in-law, Faye Farmer Cook; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
