Reina Isabel Rodriguez entered into rest on July 26, 2021. She was born July 8, 1935 in San German, Puerto Rico. She married Felix Ayala Rodriguez March 28, 1953 in Puerto Rico and moved to Lorain, Ohio to make her home.

Reina was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Lorain. She was a devoted homemaker and was passionate about spending time with her family and always took pictures with everyone. She loved to cook for her family and neighbors. Reina adored her grandchildren and loved shopping, playing dominos, and being pampered having her hair and nails done. Everyone knew her favorite colors were red and pink. She enjoyed traveling out of state to visit family members. Reina loved her pet dog, Baca.

Reina is survived by her 11 children, Felix Rodriguez (JoAnn), Maria Rodriguez, Frankie Rodriguez (Gerry), Albert Rodriguez (Kathy), Manuel Rodriguez (Nellie), Cielo "Tony" Rodriguez, Luz (Lucy) Laporte, Migdalia Luccio (Mike), Jose Rodriguez (Kattie), Ricky Rodriguez (Marlene), George Rodriguez (Adrianne), 31 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren, sisters Amelia Lugo, Rosita Lugo, Mildred (Lugo) Rosado, Lourdes Lugo, brothers Harry Lugo, Luis Acevedo, and Alex Lugo, many nieces and nephews.

Reina was preceded in death by her husband Felix Ayala Rodriguez, mother Carmen Vazquez, Father Sandalio Cancel, sister Ursula (Zully) and Carmen Lugo, brother Sandalio (Sandy) Lugo, grandsons Felix "Papo" Rodriguez Jr, Christian Wiley, Juan "CJ" Caro, nephews Edison Figueroa, Irving Figueroa, Adaberto Figueroa, Henry Figueroa, Hector David Rivera Sr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4 – 8 pm, at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44055. Friends will also be received on Friday, from 8:30 am until the time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 930 am, also at Sacred Heart Chapel. The Rev. Fr. William Thaden, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Arrangements are under the care of Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
