Doris passed away on Friday at the Allegheny General Hospital.

She was the daughter of Austin L. and Della Double Vensel.

Mrs. Morgan graduated from Karns City High School in 1949 and then went on to Butler Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1952 as a registered nurse.
She worked as a registered nurse for Butler Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Morgan was a member of the First United Methodist and the Nurses Alumni of Butler Hospital. She enjoyed volunteering for Meals-On-Wheels.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her one son, David Morgan of Butler; and one grandchild, Brady Morgan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel R. Morgan, whom she married on Aug. 22, 1952, and who passed away Sept. 12, 1998; one son, Robert Morgan; one sister, Mary Burns; and one brother, Howard Vensel

Friends will be received at Thompson - Miller Funeral Home, 124 East North St., Butler.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 200 East North St., Butler, with Rev. David D. Janz officiating.

Burial will take place in the Mount Chestnut Cemetery.
