Pete was born to John Wade and Hattie Coke Wade on January 20, 1943 in Houma, LA. Mr. Wade was employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed his job and traveling during the daytime, but wanted to be home to rest his head on his own pillow at night.
In his spare time, his favorite things to do were mow his grass and go out for a meal at the Eat Shop. Most of all, Pete loved his family and his dog, Boo Boo. He loved the Lord and attended Harmony Baptist Church.
Along with his family, Pete was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Wade; sisters, Shirley Wade and Mary E. Wade; and brother, John E. Wade.
He is survived by sons, Timothy Floyd Wade (Lisa) of Crystal Springs and William Earnest Wade of Richland; daughters, Melissa Evans (Jake) of Florence and Elizabeth McCrory of Crystal Springs; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
