Funeral service for Mr. Bobby Goodrich Barnes, age 85, of Dellrose, TN, will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at McBurg First Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Johnson and Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM on Wednesday at McBurg First Baptist Church.
Bobby was born on July 4, 1936 in Lincoln County, Tennessee to the late Wilburn and Laura Mae Bevels Barnes. He worked for Amana and was a member of the McBurg First Baptist Church. Bobby passed away on July 26, 2021 at Lincoln Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Mothia Dean Barnes; daughters, Cindy (Doug) Campbell, and Martha Lynn "Sissy" Mitchell Troy; son, Bob Barnes all of Dellrose; sister, Mattie Mae (Clay) Sawyers of Petersburg; brothers, Richard Alton (Edna) Barnes of Shelbyville; and Wade (Helen) Barnes of Ohio; grandchildren, Krissie (Andrew) Agee, Chae (Dustin) Adkinson, Trent (Hailey) Campbell, and Taylor Mitchell; and great-grandchildren, Tucker Agee, Hayes Agee, Zelma Ann Adkinson, and Clari Belle Campbell.
