MARION – Stacey Andrew Yates, 60, passed away at 10:07 a.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born in Indianapolis on February 16, 1961 to Dale Arthur Yates and Diana Lee (Hoyt) Yates-Glickman.
Stacey graduated from Blackford High School in 1979. He had lived in Blackford County from 1976 until 2016 when he moved to Marion.
He loved being outdoors, especially at the Salamonie Reservoir. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He was quick witted, loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with others.
Stacey will be sadly missed by his dad, Dale A. Yates of Hartford City; siblings, Patrick D. (wife, Mary) Yates of Greenwood, Sean H. Glickman of Florida, Sharron E. Yates of Marion, Connie (husband, Rayman) Snider of Cloverdale, Anthony E. Allison of Lake Whales, FL and Cindy L. (husband, Mike) James of Greenwood; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Diana Lee Yates-Glickman, step-mom, Jacqueline R. (Sark) Yates and brother, John W. Allison.
Stacey will be cremated.
