Kathy Louise Scott, 67, died at home on Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was born in January 18, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma JC Robbins and Jewel Elois (Kelley) Robbins. She grew up in Seminole and graduated from Seminole High School in 1972. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Mid-America Bible College in 2000. She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for over 20 years as an Adult Protective Service Specialist, and retired October 1, 2020. Kathy was a member of the First Church of God (Heartland) in Seminole for years and taught Sunday School. She enjoyed sewing, antique shopping, reading, swimming, traveling and eating snow cones. Kathy was survived by her children, Amy Scott of Del City, Oklahoma, Karen Mata and husband Charles of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Brad Scott and wife Ashly Ann of Frisco, Texas, grandchildren; Maria Mata, Jacie Mata and Amelia Scott and Evert Scott, the father of her children, of Seminole, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Carolyn Cook and Connie Robbins. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 28 July, at the Swearingen Funeral Home chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Roger Brewer officiating. Burial followed at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole. Casket bearers were: Jerry Cook, Randy Cook, Charles Mata, Chris Gitthens, Jerome White and Paul Goodner. Honorary bearers will be Jackie Meeks, Bill Hooten, Bill Thoma, Lester Robbins, Jack Robbins and David Robbins.
