OBITUARY:

Lena Mae Hart

Lena Mae Hart, 92, Columbus, and formerly of Sullivan County, died Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at Indianapolis Methodist Hospital.

She was a member of the Rose Chapel United Methodist Church, New Lebanon, and the United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Hart.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Martindale, Naples, Fla., and Wilma Thrasher, Columbus; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at Rose Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, New Lebanon. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Market Street Chapel, New Albany, and from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at Rose Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Chapel United Methodist Church.
