KENNEY — Linda Sue James Scott Jackson, 70, of Kenney, went to her Heavenly home on her 70th birthday at 6:27 p.m. on July 22, 2021, at her family residence, Kenney.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Calvert Funeral, Clinton, with Joe Cornell officiating.  Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Linda Jackson memorial fund.
Linda was born on July 22, 1951, in Clinton, the daughter of Raymond and LaJean (Short) James, of Clinton.   She married the love of her life Roger Scott on November 14, 1970.  He preceded her in death.  She married Sidney Jackson on December 12, 2015. He also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children,  Dana (Jon) Taylor; Roger (Lea) Scott and Douglas (Jessica) Scott; grandchildren,  Amber (Caleb) Bell; Silas (Erica) Taylor; Ashley (Wyatt) Scott; Sydney (Josh) McKee; Jessica (Kaleb) Shepherd; Aubrey (Gage) Scott; William Scott; Charity Grace (John) Taylor; Joshua Taylor; and Madilyn (Chris) Scott and great-grandchildren,  Declan Bell; Piper McKee; Blakelyn Hosier; Ivy Shepherd; Lively Bell and Elody Bell; plus one on the way.
Linda was "Gma Linda" to countless people.  She never met a stranger and loved everyone just as they were.  After retiring from Mitsubishi and PII, she dedicated herself to ministry and taking care of others.  She founded Toasty Toes Ministry.  This provided thousands of socks, undergarments, blankets and winter apparel to local school children and intercity homeless.  Linda was a valued member of Life Bridges Church, in Clinton, where she was the nursery coordinator.  She volunteered countless hours to many people in need.
