Vasquez, Bertha, 88, passed away on January 20, 2021. Bertha was born August 5, 1932 in Ubate, Colombia to Pedro Isaac Nunez and Maria del Carmen Martinez. After moving to Tampa Bay from New York in 1978, Bertha was seamstress. Preceded in death by her husband Hugo A Vasquez. She is also survived by her son, Alvaro Mauricio (Kim); daughter, Helen; son, Hugo Fernando Vasquez (Jame); and 5 grandchildren, Vanessa, Anthony, Nicholas, Savannah, Alyssa; and two great-granddaughters, Hailey and Angelina. Bertha will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A private family memorial service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Sunset Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation in Bertha's memory to the Alzheimer's association at www.alz.org or call 1 (800) 272-3900.
