Pamela M. Welch, age 71, of Chaska passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Abbott Hospital
in Minneapolis. She was surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Haas; parents Robert and Paula Furman.

Pam was born June 6, 1950, in Amery, Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert and Paula Furman.
Soon thereafter, she moved to Waconia, MN, where she attended grade school and high school, graduating in 1968.

She married Gary Haas, her first love, in May of 1969 and had her first son Paul in November of 1970. During these first years, she and Gary lived in Waconia and partnered with Gary's dad in a business before venturing out on their own with a startup company named Gary's Marine.

On December 21st, 1974, Pam and Paul lost their husband and dad Gary to a horrific car accident when a drunk driver struck his vehicle head on which soon after took his life on December 26th.

After this, Pam and Paul lived in Chanhassen and then Waconia until 1977 when Pam met and married Donavan G. Williams with whom she had two more sons, Troy and Robert (Robbie).

She worked hard throughout her life at companies such as CPT and Rosemount. For about the
last 20 years, she worked as a Care Specialist for disabled adults, sometimes bouncing between two or three locations each week.

She served as a volunteer for a group named "Restorative Justice" where she spoke to individuals that were either in prison, or serving a community service sentence as a consequence for driving under the influence. She was not a public speaker, but spoke from the heart and touched the lives of many while she described the heartache of losing Gary due to someone drinking and driving.

Pam loved to go to garage sales and look for treasure, often coming home with items that she hoped would someday be worth a lot of money. She kept a meticulous home inside and out. While living in River Falls, Wisconsin, she worked tirelessly to keep her home on five acres of
land pristine.

Pam attended the New Apostolic Church her entire life, often singing in the choir and offering to help clean. She lived out her life as a wonderful example of Christ, loving unconditionally and humbly serving others. She has been described as the "best example of what it should mean to
be a Christian".

Her favorite days were spent with her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved
to "spoil" those she loved and would often hide money that would later be found in a coat pocket or in the glove box of a car. She loved to pay for things simply to bless others. She was generous beyond words. She loved a good cup of coffee while looking out on a country scene. She had a wonderful demeanor that made people feel relaxed, always the first to get up and start dishes, always serving, while never complaining. She was a humble woman that trusted God's working out of details. She often said "it will all work out", when things were tough. She had seen this acted out in her life many times.

Pam was a quiet woman who sought the good of others before herself, often sacrificing of herself to bless someone else. She will be sorrowfully missed.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at New Apostolic Church
in New Brighton with Rev. Ives Leiser as officiant. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Waconia.
