Karen Lavon Luce Hall, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 23, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Karen was born September 6, 1939 in Provo to Doris LaVon and Kent Lavar Luce. She grew up in Provo, Utah and was the oldest of four siblings. After graduating from Provo High School, she spent twenty years as a governess for the King family before getting married.

She married Donald Woolsey Hall on June 4, 1976, in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Karen loved all types of music, photography, and dancing. She enjoyed clogging trips, summer dance performances, and traveling. She loved people and spending time with friends and family.

Karen is survived by her two children, Michael Hall (Jen) and Wendy Doose (Gary); and four grandchildren.

There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, July 27th 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Lehi Fifteenth Ward Building, 1920 North 500 West, Lehi. The funeral will be held at the same location on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
