Donald W. Fox, 80 years, of Petersburg, died Monday night while under the care of Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania.
Friends may call at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida, Sunday from 2-8 PM. There will be a Catholic service on Monday at 11 AM at the Capaul Funeral Home, Ida. Dr. Rev. Michael Woroniewicz will officiate from St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Ida.
Born May 24, 1934, in Onsted, MI. Donald was the son of Francis and Mary (Hendryx) Fox. He served in the US Air Force from June 1951 to October 1953. He married Helen Swain, September 4, 1953 in Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Donald was a Welder for Teledyne for thirty three years retiring in 1998. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, St. Joseph?s Catholic Church, Ida, and the UAW Local 12. He loved the casino, playing cards and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include: his wife, Helen; two daughters, Terri (Bill) Auten, Pamela (Larry) Dickinson; a brother, Ronald Fox; a sister Lynda Chatfield; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jill), Donal (Cecille), Brandy, Amber, Julia (Andy), Lindsey, Ashley, Emily and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Francis Jr., Keith, Fredrick; a sister, Mary Ann and a daughter Debra Hoot.
