Abby was a direct descendant of John and Betty More's Alexander line. She was the second of three children born to Milo H. Wagar and Elizabeth Brewster Sinclair Wagar. Abby was raised at Chicago, Illinois where her father was an office clerk. She married first to Thomas Miller Meldrum on 8 April 1896 at Chicago. They made their home first at that place where her husband was a bookkeeper. They relocated to Santa Monica, California about 1910 where her husband was a merchant. Abby married next to Charles B. Williams on 10 October 1919 at Kansas City, Missouri. Abby's last known residence was at Ocean Park, California. She and her first husband, Thomas, were the parents of one child, Claron Wagar Meldrum. She and her second husband had no children.
