A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Jackie Renee (Hayes) Flynn at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021, at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church with Rev. Jason Gootee officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be in the Kramer Chapel at 6:00 p.m.
Jackie Renee Hayes Flynn, 60, of Pollock, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Smith Hayes, Jr and Margie (McCann) Hayes; brothers, Isaac (Mike) Hayes, and Richard (Ricky) Hayes.
Renee was a wonderful cook and loved bringing meals to anyone! Her true gift was serving God in so many ways and loving on others. By serving others, she served God! She worked at Pinecrest with those with special needs. Renee truly took care of everyone, especially her family which was always the most important. Renee loved all animals and had the heart and gift for taking care of them. She was loved by all who knew her and touched everyone with her sweet smile and loving, kind heart.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Marty Flynn of Pollock; her brothers and sisters, Patsy Hayes Cebrynski,(Ralph) of Pineville, Sandy Hayes Green (Royce) of Haughton, Colynda Hayes Byrnes, (Michael) of Pineville, Kathy Hayes Murray (Danny) of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Peggy Hayes Colwell (Sammy) of Yulee, Florida, Melanie Hayes Reeves (Phil) of Ball, Rodney Hayes (Leisa) of Theodore, Alabama, Steve Hayes, of Pollock; father-in-law, Mickey Flynn, mother-in-law, Pattie Flynn; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Flynn Delagarza, Tracy Flynn, and Sheila Brown Hayes; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Flynn and Christopher Flynn (Jackie); and her godchildren, Berkley Claire Byrnes, Job Keith Driggers, Amy Flynn and Sydnie Guidry. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Matt Byrnes, Alex Flynn, Amy Flynn, Christopher Flynn, Chris Flynn, and Rhett Reeves.
